While serving on the staff at a large church in Michigan, Mary was approached to produce and host the radio program Reaching Out From Within, which later became the foundation for the nationally syndicated program Outreach Alert, distributed daily to over 1,200 stations. In her tenure of twenty-two years as an evangelist educator, she has led many to the Lord, and has taught and inspired scores of others to effectively share their Christian faith. As a national evangelism leader, Mary has been involved in several national evangelism ministries: Mission America Coalition National Lighthouse Movement, Family Life Communications radio network evangelism advisor, and assistant to the Christian Broadcasting Network - Book of HopeNeedHim radio feature which provides 24 hour counseling with the Gospel. NeedHim has had over 4,000 seekers per week and is heard on over 1,200 stations daily. campaign. She is also a member of the National Religious Broadcasters. She has been a frequent contributor along with Franklin Graham, Kay Arthur and others in scripting and voicing the nationally syndicated As an author and speaker, Mary has been the guest on numerous TV and radio programs related to evangelism. Her life's passion is to see Christian's effectively and lovingly share their faith in Jesus Christ. Mary has written articles for Decision and On Mission national magazines. She has written Lighting the Way a 90 Day journey in Sharing Your Faithdesigned for individuals and church groups to build an accountable lifestyle applying prayer, care and share principles on a daily basis. After September 11, 2001 Mary founded Christian Emergency Network in collaboration with other national media and ministry leaders such as Salvation Army, Christian Broadcasting Network, Luis Palau Evangelistic Associaton, National Prayer Committee, Campus Crusade for Christ and others, to bring Christians together in a united prayer, care and share response to any future national disaster. Christian Emergency Network currently has over 7,000 organizational partners, thousands of churches all partnering together in sharing the Gospel effectively for such a time as this.
